The half beat rhythm of reggae music really rocks. This is a sentence that sounds much better with a Carribean accent. Your man David Rodigan has done much to promote reggae, and his move to Radio1 Xtra in the UK is good news.
I came to reggae late. Notting Hill Carnivals and living near Brixton for a while sparked my interest. Apart from Bob Marley’s Exodus album, I only had a handful of reggae LPs, one of which was Aswad.
