Diego Costa got the Oscar (and an Arsenal player red carded) for a supposed trip. Was there any contact? I’m not sure, but 10 Arsenal players couldn’t beat the blues at home.
I will not be popular with my fellow Chelsea supporters, but this is the sort of trickery that gives football a bad name. Just because you can fool some of the refs some of the time, it doesn’t do football stars any credit, and makes them look like pathetic wimps and second rate showmen occasionally.
God help the women’s game if they start falling over to win penalties and get opponents sent off.
