It’s a relief when I discover an author who has written a few books. I am on my third Graham Norton novel, but it’s not quite what I expected.
Holding has been made into a tv series but the book disappointed me a bit, because the other two books held my attention more easily.
I probably should read new author’s work in the sequence they were written but that might be a bad idea. In my opinion the other two books I have read were more polished. Home Stretch and A Keeper were penned after Holding and it shows.
Perhaps if I had dipped into Graham Norton’s novels and started with his first book, I might have been put off reading his later work, which would have been a shame.
