My brother and family kindly gifted me a pedicure in a local Spa treatment centre. I had put off the treatment for over a year during lockdown and the height of virus infections. I decided to use the gift voucher on my recent birthday.
It was a very enjoyable experience having my toenails cut and filed after soaking in warm water. Then my feet were moisturised leaving them feeling silky smooth. The gentle music and incense all contributed to the oasis of calm. I’m definitely going back for more, I might even get a manicure.
With all this pampering I broke out the foot massager… interesting experience having my feet squeezed and then released by an electronic device.
