As a caffeine addict I was somewhat discombobulated when my favourite café/bistro altered their opening times. OK fair enough they’re open all weekend so being closed on Mondays makes sense. But not opening until 11:30 has disrupted my routine.
I now go to the Crafty Vintner about 9:30 for a cappuccino and a read. If I have shopping to do, I will cycle down to M&S or Tesco. But there is no guarantee that La Bottega will be open when I head back down the Lisburn Road.
It is worth the wait to get really good coffee, the occasional grappa and a friendly atmosphere.
