Most of the games I have watched on TV have been dull spectator sports hampered by the offside rule and endless passes with little attacking strategy.
Germany vs Denmark was one of the few exceptions. Lots of attacking play and a real sense of urgency from kick-off. The inevitable goal ruled out by VAR left Denmark goalless. Germany deserved their penalty and the second goal was pure class.
England are getting whistles from their fans because of their defensive tactics. Slovakia deserved their first half goal and would do us all a favour if they put England out of their misery
With the score at 2-1 to England in extra time and a fantastic bicycle kick to put England ahead maybe there is some hope.
