Well I scraped through my level 2 distance learning course ‘Exploring Philosophy’. I’m hoping to do things differently next year. In 2005, when I was in the final year of my Humanities degree, I had worked out a revision timetable and felt confident I could answer the exam questions. It paid off and I got my best results that year.

Time management needs discipline and dedication. A half-arsed attitude and doing the bare minimum might get me a low pass, but it did not give me a sense of achievement.

There will be no face-to-face tutorials again next year, so I joined a WhatsApp group that has an interesting bunch of people who did the same level 2 course I just scraped a pass in. I hope the philosophical debates will be thought provoking.
