I decided to give up alcohol for a while, but I didn’t want to stop drinking beer. I was surprised at the range of beers available that are alcohol free.
I had accidentally ordered 48 tins of Brewdog online and hadn’t realised that I had bought their AF range. I was pleased to find them very drinkable.
Erdinger do an alcohol free beer that is not dissimilar to the ordinary version. Guinness 00 is not bad in tins, but better on draught.
The big surprise for me was how good the alcohol free cider can be. M&S do a tasty Somerset cider as does Tesco’s.
This has been an interesting period of alcoholic abstinence made easier by the availability of such a range of bottled, tinned and draught alcohol free drinks.
