This weekend we are looking after a chocolate Labrador called Cora. This means staying at my son and his partner’s comfortable house. Cora is a very affectionate dog and a doddle to mind.

We took her for a short walk this morning to buy a paper and some fresh croissants. A bit of fooling about indoors with a squeaky gingerbread man toy and Cora has settled down for some downtime.
I have settled down for an afternoon’s Six Nations rugby. Two close games and some exciting rugby. The local pub was bunged for the Wales v Ireland game and the atmosphere a bit subdued until Ireland asserted their superiority in the second half. England scraped it against Scotland.
