New glasses

I had my annual diabetic eye test and assumed all was well. Then I had an eye test at Specsavers. There is sign of macular degeneration in one eye, I forget which, that seemed to trouble the optician. So she referred me to a Macular clinic, but by the time I get an appointment the tiny patch of liquid in the retinal wall (this is my interpretation of what the optician told me) may have disappeared.

The new prescription glasses work better than my old ones, so reading is easier. Which is just as well because I will have a lot of academic reading to do come October, when I start postgrad studies with the OU.
