Belfast is getting colder although the trees are not ready to give up their leaves just yet. My family have developed hacking coughs and the culprit for sharing their germs is none other than myself. I have made a couple of sensible clothing purchases: a cardigan from M&S and a Peter Storm coat from Millets. The URC rugby season starts on Friday with Ulster playing the Dragons at home. Having renewed my season ticket, I am determined to stay warm sitting in the stands this season. Thermal trousers would help, or possibly long John’s, definitely ski gloves and a woolly hat. To cycle to the ground or taxi it? Taxi would be sensible… but when have I ever been sensible?
