If music be the food of love, then there were plenty of loved up teenagers at Boucher Playing fields yesterday evening to see Snow Patrol and the support bands. The music didn’t click with me, so I headed home early in the strengthening rain.
The sound quality was good. I could hear the words to the songs, no bother. It’s just a shame that I didn’t rate the lyrics.
I came across a website to check your ability to hear sound at different pitches which I will be trying out to see just how many of my faculties have been eroded.
Professor Winston had a very good TV series called Human Body that showed how age effects hearing. An elderly couple’s hearing was simulated to show that they would pick up the bass notes much more than the higher pitched sound of a tube train approaching a station.
