“In times of yore…” got my attention, having used the line myself many moons ago when my odes were in their infancy. So the Evil Eye festival in Falcarragh this weekend is a must. It’s part of a ‘gathering’ so I may well be joining an ancient cult without realising it.
One of the characters being celebrated at the festival is Lugh of Tuatha De Danann. I’ve heard tell of the Tuatha before but am hazy on the details, so it will be great to experience the reenactments being performed outdoors.
