Mammals – aren’t we great?

Elephants of the African or Indian variety are the gentle giants of all the mammals. The Indian ones have smaller ears I think. Ensuring their survival by protecting the sort of habitat they need is only going to get tougher, if the more plentiful mammals get greedier about how much territory they grab for themselves. We could try limiting the expansion of their numbers, or at the very least slowing down the exponential growth of our world population.
