A person with integrity works with the same honesty and good moral values in any environment. Albert Camus’ quote “Integrity has no need of rules” underlines the notion that a person with integrity will behave rightly because it is right, rather than because it conforms to a standard of behaviour.

Are there really universal and eternal moral certainties? Is one person’s integrity another person’s arrogance? By not observing conventions in behaviour, just because of some individual moral compass, that individual may be riding roughshod over others’ traditions that have historical and emotional significance.
