I popped into the Parlour Bar today in the hope that there might be someone I recognised As luck would have it, there were several familiar faces seated at a table near the entrance.
Tony was as erudite as usual, Michael had ventured outside Queen’s and then came back to Tony’s team. Then he moved to Planning – why? Richard and David were in fine form (despite David’s hair horror show).
I commented on their abstemious pints of non-alcoholic drinks as I tucked into the tasty pint of IPA. Life can be hard as a wage slave, fortunately, my shackles have been cast off and I am free to make an arse of myself. Great to see you guys.
Conor was of course my best buddy. Parting company with him was a massive emotional wrench, but in time and after a lot of counselling I have come to terms with our separation.

Cheers John, good to see you once again. Not sure what poor Conor did not to get a mention but at least that’s done now. It’s great to sit back again and watch you have a conversation with yourself .😂 just like the good old days🤛

John your departure has indeed left and hole in our lives. Good to see your doing well. As you may have gathered some of my fellow team mates decide to hide behind the keyboard and are masquerading as me. As a betting man the clear odds on favorite is Mr McCrory.
