On a visit to the Ulster Museum I had a look in the gift shop. There was a shelf full of cuddly birds and if you pushed a spot on their backs it played the sound that particular bird made.
I opted for the chiff chaff. Now I delight in pushing the button to hear it’s call and see if it gets a response. A blackbird has visited our garden a couple of times
It’s call is more insistent than the chiff chaffs, but I wonder if there is a potential conversation going on there.
