My Welshness took a battering this weekend. Getting beaten by Iran in the football World Cup and then giving up a commanding lead against Australia at Cardiff to lose the rugby in the dying minutes of the game.
Even my Englishness took a dent when the Springboks dominated the rugby match at Twickenham. Maybe the bokers will be favourites to retain the World Cup in France next year. It’s worth a punt.
Ulster were worthy winners at home against Zebre. Leinster are a still top of the league and very much the team to beat.
