One of my favourite possessions is my DSLR camera. I am still learning how to get the most out of it, particularly the manual settings.
Living in Belfast we are flanked by mountains on the West and hills to the East. Our view of the mountains is superb. The changing seasons and light conditions make for a landscape that never fails to capture my attention. Capturing a half decent photo of what I see when I look out of our attic window has eluded me…
Finding a zoom lens at an affordable price has changed all that. The first pictures were taken on a day that was cloudy, misty and not the ideal setting for landscape photography.

I will have to take another tootle up to the mountain top on an ebike for some views of the city and harbour mouth.
