I bought a video doorbell and thought I’d have a go at installing it last night. Whether it was the booze or tiredness, I couldn’t work out how to scan the device QR codes.
Bright and early I had another go. Amazingly it all went fairly smoothly. Admittedly I couldn’t work out if I had the drill on the right setting for the masonry drill bit, but the holes lined up with the bracket and the motion sensor camera works fine.
Will it protect us? Well h.ave to wait and see.
