The life of a Primary School teacher is pretty full on. I should know, I:m married to one. So with half term not far away I have booked us into a fancy hotel for a bit of pampering.
After a dip in the pool I will be ready for some nosh in the River Bar and Bistro. I would have booked a table in the restaurant, but the reviews online told of children running wild and even stealing from the waiting staff’s tip jar.
The location is near a popular woodland and old canal towpath. We might take a stroll to the Lock keepers café if the rain holds off.
