As a cyclist I don’t mind the rain. Strong winds are a different matter and blizzards a definite no no. To get a good cup of espresso before 11:30 has me heading into the city centre to a popular café called Neighbourhood. It’s popularity means that they quite often have people queuing outside waiting for a free table.
Today was rainy, my luck was in. No queue. I had my usual espresso and sparkling water with toast and jam. With my second cup I was tempted by a beautiful pastry. With the texture of croissant and the custard filling it didn’t really need two wee flakes of honey, but that’s what an indulgence is.
