Not accepting defeat I had another go at assembling our garden chairs. Perhaps doing it indoors on a soft surface was always going to make it easier. In any case I still had to get down on my hands and knees and screw in bolts that needed careful alignment and were located in a very awkward location.
Two down and my knees were complaining.
