We are moving out of our house to make way for the contractors who will carry out the much-needed renovation work. Luckily we found a house to rent just round the corner that is unfinished and pretty much the same design as ours.
Most of the hard work has been done, boxing up hundreds of books and stacking them in our garage. The charity shops have benefitted from the clear out, although we will probably still be moving our clutter out and back in again.
I can’t wait to get settled in to a house that has effective gas fired central heating and insulation…even better when it’s our own.
