An exciting game of rugby with Ulster playing a better second half. At 29 points down their comeback had their fans, including me, hoping for a miraculous ending. Pints before during and after the match concluded with a final pint of Guinness in Robinsons bar with some Leinster fans.

Afterwards the traditional kebab on the way home by the N9 night bus. Nina’s Palace do good Middle Eastern food and brought home two of their baclavas.

Getting up early was ok, and the constitutional walk helped clear the head. I cycled to La Bottega and got there a bit too soon. I bought a flat cap and a scarf at the nearby charity shop. The cap kept the rain off my pounding head as I entered the Italian sanctuary and was offered iced water and a double espresso
