Unforseen consequences

I overdid the fast walking from the pub to the rugby ground to get there by kick off. A few days later, my left calf muscle was quite sore. It wasn’t getting any better so I booked an appointment with a physio.

It turned out that the cause of my injury was not the strenuous walking but my posture on my favourite barstool. I unconsciously press my legs against the metal legs of the high stool. I have been given some exercises and am learning not to exert pressure on my lower limbs while I sit and study or quaff.
