I wisely bought a decent camera with money raised by my colleagues at Queen’s for my retirement in 2021. I took an Open University course to learn a little bit about digital photography but remained ignorant of the finer points that turn snaps into art.

Today, I worked out how to activate the flash function. It wasn’t hard, I just had to lift the top part of the camera.
