Russia is led by a dictator who has used his spy network, FSB, to poison his opponent, Alexei Navalny. Miraculously, Navalny survived the attempt thanks to his treatment in a hospital in Germany, and duped the agents to admit in a recorded interview that they had carried out the assassination attempt. When Navalny reurned from exile he was imprisoned on trumped up charges and remains under lock and key.
China has suppressed democracy activists in Hong Kong and has transpoted over a million people to Xinjiang re-education camps, officially called Vocational Education and Training Centers by the Government of China.
