I am finding Paul Hollywood’s book How to Bake an easy guide to baking bread.
My next step is to try his recipe for pizza. I have all the ingredients except for sourdough starter. I’ve seen it somewhere in Belfast l, probably Sainsbury’s, they seem to have most things on my shopping lists. Until then I’ll have to make do with ready made pizza dough.
Sainsbury’s don’t do sourdough starter and neither do M&S. I could spend a week making my own but I don’t have the patience. Jamie Oliver doesn’t bother with sourdough starter, although he recommends 00 flour. I might give his pizza recipe a go.
