The plan to level the sloping back garden seemed a bit ambitious a few weeks ago.  But now, there is a plot filled with grit topped with soil. My better half has sown native wildflower seeds and has planted flowers and grasses. The old path was removed, and the left-hand path hugs the side of the garage. New plants and shrubs are in the borders, and some old plants have been relocated to join them.

Most of the heavy lifting was done by our youngest with his brother and myself doing our bit.

All we need now are some warm sunny days so that we can sit under the parasol with cold drinks and snacks soaking up the atmosphere watching nature and its bounty.
