Ghana has joined a number of African countries making homosexually illegal and making it compulsory to report homosexual acts to the police. The country’s president, John Dramani Mahama gave the bill his full support, and the the bill’s sponsor Reverend John Ntim Fordjour said the bill protected Ghanaian family and cultural values.
