One of my favourite authors is Ian McEwan. I have read everything he’s had published. His latest book, What we can know, didn’t disappoint. Although it taxed my small brain for the first hundred pages or so, it was worth the effort.
Discovering new authors is an ongoing quest. Aravind Adiga’s White Tiger was a great read and a worthy winner of the Booker Prize. I am currently reading his book Selection Day. It is a story about much more than just the selection of two brothers for a cricket team. You become immersed in the culture and humour of Indian life and their obsession with cricket.
